Call during regular business hours -- 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday -- to make an appointment. We can usually offer same-day or next-day appointments.

Cancellations and Late Arrivals -- If you must cancel an appointment, let us know as soon as possible so we may be available to other patients.

If you will be late for an appointment, call our office so we can accommodate other patients or help you reschedule for another time.

What to Bring -- Bring your insurance cards to each appointment. Bring a list of all medicines you currently are taking, including dosing amounts, as well as any vitamins, herbal products and any over-the-counter products.

Bring a picture identification card or driver's license to be copied and placed in your chart.

If you need to transfer medical records to Family Care of North County, sign a release form at our office and we'll request the necessary information from your prior provider. Some offices charge to transfer records. It may be unnecessary to transfer your entire record.

Telephone Medicine --  We are happy to discuss your condition and care plan during your office visit. Although we can provide general medical advice over the phone, we are unable to diagnose new conditions without an office visit. Call our office during regular business hours about billing concerns.

After Hours -- If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.

Prescriptions and Refills -- Prescriptions are filled only during regular business hours.
